President and Founder of The CHAT Lab, a not-for-profit organization that builds resilience and social-emotional skills in children, giving them proactive tools to navigate stress, regulate emotions, and build healthy relationships. Dr. Sheehan leads the organization's research component, applying rigorous epidemiologic and intervention-science methods to evaluate program impact and strengthen the evidence base for early mental health skill building. Dr. Sheehan is also a Courtesy Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work at Florida International University. Her program of research focuses on understanding and addressing social, structural, and psychosocial barriers to accessing and engaging in health care, including mental health services, among vulnerable and underserved populations. Dr. Sheehan's research has included the development and evaluation of innovative, evidence-based interventions to improve health outcomes and care engagement among diverse populations. Her studies have incorporated advanced methodologies such as Ecological Momentary Assessment, Just-In-Time Adaptive Interventions, stepped care approaches, and Sequential Multiple Assignment Randomized Trial designs. Dr. Sheehan holds a PhD in Epidemiology from Florida International University and Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degrees from Boston University.

An early childhood development specialist, infant mental health consultant, and educator with more than 20 years of experience supporting young children, families, and educators. She holds a doctorate degree in Early Childhood Development and Teaching and Learning, and her research focuses on how brain development and relationships influence children's learning, behavior, and emotional well-being. Pilar is passionate about translating developmental science into practical, research-informed strategies that empower parents to better understand their children, strengthen relationships, and foster resilience.

April has been working in Early Childhood Education for the past 17 years. She has 2 degrees one in Early Childhood specializing in Montessori Primary Education, one in Elementary Childhood Education, and a Bachelor’s degree in English. She has worked for 10 years in Montessori education as an Assistant then Lead Teacher and also as an Assistant Director where she helped to spear head a new Montessori School. Currently, she has been teaching 1st grade for 7 years in a traditional Charter School. She has a passion for teaching children in the early formative years as well as building relationships with my students and their families to help them thrive and succeed not only academically but socially and emotionally.

Christine R. Hughes, Ph.D., is the founding Executive Director of the Florida Association for Infant Mental Health and a Miami developmental psychologist with over twenty years in the early development and mental health of infants and young children. Her work spanning early intervention, Head Start, and childcare quality systems has shaped risk-screening programs that reach more than 30,000 families a year.

Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Registered Play Therapist, and Infant Mental Health Specialist who maintains a private practice serving children, teens, and young adults, and offers parent coaching. With over a decade as a school counselor across early childhood, elementary, and high school settings, she brings deep expertise in child and adolescent development. She is passionate about supporting students' emotional well-being and fostering resilience at every stage of their growth.

Robert "Bobby" Bruin Glick is a shareholder and managing director in Kaufman Rossin's assurance and advisory services practice, with over 35 years in public accounting spanning audits, mergers and acquisitions, and tax planning. A Florida CPA and member of the AICPA and FICPA, he serves clients ranging from public companies to private individuals. Bobby also brings deep nonprofit governance experience as current treasurer and board member of both the Florida Grand Opera and the Rhythm Foundation.
