Strong relationships are the foundation of healthy brain development and lifelong well-being. Join us for an interactive workshop that explores the science behind parenting. Parents will discover why relationships are at the heart of healthy development and how everyday moments create opportunities to build connection, resilience, and trust. Together, we will explore parenting styles, understand how your child's unique temperament influences behavior, and learn how attachment lays the foundation for lifelong emotional well-being.

You'll walk away knowing how to:

  • Understand the role that the parent-child relationship plays in shaping healthy brain development and lifelong emotional well-being.
  • Identify how your parenting style and your child’s unique temperament influence daily interactions and learn practical strategies to make these work for you.

3. What is your child trying to tell you? (Behavior/non-negotiables/consequences/rules)

October 22, 2026
6:30 pm
8:00 pm
Behavior is a form of communication. In this workshop, parents will learn how to look beyond challenging behaviors and recognize them as a form of communication. Together, we will explore how brain development, developmental stages, and children's individual needs influence behavior and why understanding what is happening beneath the surface allows parents to respond with greater confidence and intention. We will also explore how to establish clear expectations, consistent boundaries, logical consequences, and non-negotiable family values while maintaining a strong, connected relationship with your child. Participants will leave with practical strategies to reduce power struggles and foster cooperation at every stage of development.

You'll walk away knowing how to:

  • Learn to recognize children’s behavior as a form of communication and identify how brain development and developmental stage (age) can play a role in how your child is interacting with you.
  • Learn ways to set clear expectations, consistent boundaries, and age-appropriate consequences while maintaining a strong and connected parent-child relationship.
